Welcome to the 5th Gear Pitching Help Center. Here you'll find quick answers on how to get started, book sessions, and use your account.

Client Guide

Signing Up

  1. Click Sign Up in the top right.
  2. Enter name, email, password.
  3. Enter your coach's code (if applicable).
  4. Confirm email (if email verification is active).

If you don't have a coach code, you'll still be able to browse resources and request a session.

Linking to Your Coach

How entering the coach code connects your account to your coach.

What happens after linking:

  • Coach is notified.
  • You'll see their availability in your Schedule tab.
  • Messaging with your coach opens up.

Booking a Session

  1. Navigate to Schedule.
  2. Select an available opening.
  3. Confirm time, location (or online), and submit.
  4. Payment notes (if Stripe/cash/Venmo is enabled).

Drills and Resources

  • Explain where to find Drills (video + PDF resources).
  • Mention Cloudinary for videos + PDFs in Resources tab.
  • Tip: Adjust video quality if on mobile.

Messaging Your Coach

  • Accessed through dashboard once linked.
  • Used for session updates, questions, accountability.

Troubleshooting

  • "Forgot Password" flow (reset email).
  • If login/signup fails → "Contact Support" with a provided support email or form.

Coach Guide

Getting Started

  • Coaches sign up through Apply to Coach page (application/approval).
  • Once approved, you'll get your own coach code.

Managing Clients

  • Linked clients appear in My Clients.
  • You'll see their names, linked date, and scheduled sessions.

Creating Openings

  • Go to Schedule Management.
  • Add new availability → clients see it immediately.
  • Recurring sessions supported.

Uploading Drills

  • Go to Drills.
  • Upload video/PDF resources (Cloudinary integration).
  • Assign categories (beginner, advanced, etc.).

Payments

  • Stripe integration → clients pay during booking.
  • Coaches see payment status in Payments tab.

Can I book without a coach?

Yes, you can browse resources and request sessions even without being linked to a coach.

How do I reset my password?

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to receive a reset email.

How do I update my profile?

Navigate to your Profile section in the dashboard to update your information.
